SUNDAY 19TH NOVEMBER, 9.00AM - 5.00PM ENCHANTED WONDERS - Elevating Children’s Imagination, Creativity and Self Expression through Yoga with Ayala Homossany Sometimes we are not sure how to access our creativity or inspiration, and from time to time we know what we want to do or say, but we are unsure how to truly express ourselves. As children, our first dreams may have been to be an astronaut, a firefighter, an actor or singer. Most children do not get the privilege to express their dreams. Most are being told by their surroundings to get back to reality, stop showing off, or that their dreams are unachievable. As a result, many children give up their dreams and literally mute their ability to express their thoughts, ideas, aspirations and emotions. When we, adults, deny children from expressing themselves freely, we create a generation which is afraid to express itself, explore, innovate, and create. These communication blocks have been documented in medical literature as potentially leading into unhealthy situations, both physically and mentally. Therefore, just as we practice yoga on the mat, or yoga in our daily life as adults, we can also use yoga as a magical tool to provide children with the ability to fully express themselves in any form. Doing that will allow our children to express their deepest emotions, to be heard, seen, noticed, and accepted. As Albert Einstein acknowledged many years ago: “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.” Throughout the workshop, we will concentrate on introducing tools to enhance children’s motorical, verbal and emotional expression through the practice of yoga. In creative ways, we will learn how to enable the children, stimulate self-expression and give them a stage for their creativity. We will explore how yoga practice can be extended and become a fantastic and invaluable tool to nurture the child’s imagination and curiosity and enhance their language skills. You will come out of the workshop with tangible knowledge and ideas that will make a happy addition to your tool box and will spice up your yoga practice with children and kids yoga classes. Such ideas will include, among others, the use of different props, the use of Enchanted Wonders A-Z yoga cards, games, songs and more. The course is open to Yoga Teachers and Trainee Yoga Teachers. It is also open to those working with children who have extensive Yoga experience. The price for the one day training is £105 and it includes a comprehensive training manual, a free poster of all the poses from the Enchanted Wonders A-Z cards and a delicious vegetarian meal that will be cooked on the day by the owner of the studio who is also a professional chef. The day will start at 10am and will finish at 5.30pm with a one hour break between 1pm and 2pm. Participants will be able to purchase the Enchanted Wonders A-Z cards at a special price of £10 (instead of £12.99). Please contact Ayala Homossany directly on 07786544515 or email ayala@enchantedwonders.com  for any other enquiries and to sign up.

WEDNESDAY 15TH NOVEMBER, 7PM - 9PM SYC x ASTROLOGY FOR ARTISTS: THE WARRIOR IN YOU Do you know where Mars falls in your Astrological chart? Where Mars falls determines the courage and daring we may harness. Come and discover the warrior in you! During this workshop we’ll learn and connect with the red planet, the myths around Mars and its archetypes. Then we will explore the astrological Mars and its link to Aries through reflecting and visualising its energy and vision, through the body and nature. And finally and most importantly we’ll see how it manifests in our own chart and how we are embracing it! SATURDAY 28TH OCTOBER, 2PM - 6PM THE MEDICINE GARDEN - AUTUMN Autumn is considered a time of letting go and making room to receive. As the trees shed so must we. The organs associated with this season are the Lung and the Large intestine.   This Medicine garden will be unraveling the energies in motion associated with these organs and how they can directly link to the manifestation of poor health If these energies are restricted from their natural motion, which is constant flow in and out of our own experience Following this we will dive deep into a breathing workshop led by Hanna-Jade where we will explore our own capacity to breath freely and deeply as a way of detoxifying our physical, emotional, mental and astral realms.   Such the chance to surrender yourself to your body's innate somatic intelligence as a way of understanding and integrating the balance of your own healing and embodiment path. The breathing session will be guided by both etheric live and recored sounds led by Hanna-Jade and Mehmet. And finally after working through the deep energetics of our seasonal inner and outer worlds, we will be covering the use of applied nutritional and herbal therapy as a supportive and functional way to maintain or develop balanced health and wellbeing over the colder months ahead.   We will also be offering some nourishing and herbal teas and organic snacks too... FRIDAY 27TH OCTOBER, 6.45PM - 9.45PM THE GODDESS SERIES: KALI, BURN IT ALL AWAY Join Mischa Varmuza  for a wild and magical evening of Rasa Yoga, diving into sacred movement and sound, invoking the wild dark power of Kali to transform our fears and open up to Grace. Kali is the dark goddess who stands for time, change and the total dissolution of all that we know and hold onto in order to clear us out and prepare us for rebirth so that we can rise into ourSelf, empowered and wiser each time. Sometimes we can forget that to truly grow, it is not just creation that is called for, but total surrender - we must allow old layers and ways to fall away. Kali calls for us to push our boundaries of growth, to see and own ourselves and take full responsibility and accountability - and then from this place we open doorways towards radical freedom and the power of Love to rule. Expect a creative and challenging yoga practice of asana, mantra, meditation, pranayama - woven with ritual, song and dance. We will be in the high energy of Samhain or Halloween, the darkest time of year, when the veils are said to be thin, and ritual and prayer are done to honour those that have since passed. During these dark months we are also beckoned to dive into our black inner spaces, to tug lovingly at the shadows and to know ourselves from deep within. This evening, will be one long prayer and dance back home, through the fire, into the ashes and dust, rising back up alive with our hearts on fire. Join Mischa and special guests for this magical evening of yoga ritual. £35 - info@mischavarmuza.com for booking

SUNDAY 15TH OCTOBER, 10AM - 5PM AN ACRO YOGA LUNAR DAY: A THAI & FLY EXCHANGE Your Sunday chill out day with a Thai and fly exchange- open to all levels Take in a deep breath and sigh out the stresses and strains that hold you. Take this day to collectively reconnect and release, to ground, accept and witness. The morning will consist of: - An asana practice to prepare your physical and mental body into giving and receiving; a Thai massage sequence to aid energetic flow in the body; and attention to details: - in working with the breath, the sensitivity of touch with gravity and body weight, and the use of harmonics and vibrations as a tool to release and unblock. In the afternoon we will apply the skills from the morning into flying therapeutics. Thisinvolves a base and flyer; the base grounds and suspends the flyer with their hands and feet.  The passive nature of the flyer enables the base to sculpt the flyer into a variety of shapes that stretch and opens the flyers upper body, enabling the potential release of tension and muscular holding patterns.    We will cover + what to look for:   To see where hold patterns may be and to witness, with time and space, changes in these holding patterns, a series of passive flyer extensions, asymmetric stretches and twists, and therapeutic flying transitions. An opportunity to connect, to listen and be present in a supportive and collective way.  Be prepared for the cuddle puddles.   Bookings can be made using the following link:  http://www.jaquiwan.com/2017/07/20/acroyoga-lunar-day-with-erica-montes-and-jaqui-wan/

SATURDAY 14TH OCTOBER, 2PM - 8PM   AUTUMN GROUNDING - URBAN DAY RETREAT Change is afoot. Fresh off the back of mid-summer madness, we find ourselves sliding towards Autumn and before you know it we’ll be in roll necks and making soups all over again! We’d like to stop for a moment - take some time and reflect on the past couple of months; to digest our feelings, thoughts, emotions and re-connect with our body and mind, to repair and prepare for the change in season. Self-love has never been more important in this hectic world we live in. As busy people it's too often that we leave loving and caring for ourselves at the bottom of our priority list. Happy Heads and Wild Thing Yoga are joining together again for the next instalment of our urban day retreat in East London. We’re intuitively working with the flow of the seasons (following on from a successful Summer of Love) and we’re inviting you to join us in a beautiful nurturing day of self love, where we’ll be guiding you through the best ways to look after both your body and your mind. The day will start with a guided meditation and breathing techniques with crystal healing, followed by a beautiful breath synchronized chakra based vinyasa flow, working with a strong physical connection to the Earth. We have a veggie chef with us for the day to create a health conscious, hearty, warming and nourishing supper, a selection of fresh juices & yummy treats all with healing superfoods, herbs & antioxidant spices to make sure you’re being filled with goodness throughout the day. In the afternoon into evening we’ll have a workshop on self-love and Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as tapping) teaching you invaluable tools and techniques for how to re-connect with your true self. Finishing the day with a restorative slow yoga flow and deeply relaxing yoga nidra followed by meditation to ensure each contented soul will leave filled with a new energy, self love and grounding both mentally and physically. FRIDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER, 7PM - 9PM THE RITE OF THE WOMB The Rite of the Womb is a Shamanic ceremony which honours the Divine Feminine within women. It is a deeply nurturing, energetic transmission and comes from the Divine Feminine spirit of the jungle. The Rite of the Womb releases fear and pain that is held in the womb space and calls in the birthing of our new lives and all creative projects. This Rite is simple, yet profoundly potent and brings us into the embodiment of the Divine Feminine presence. In receiving the Rite we are shown the sacredness in ourselves and in all of life. By healing our wombs we heal our mothers, our sisters and our daughters and ultimately bring healing to our beautiful Mother Earth and her sacred waters. All women may receive the Rite of the Womb. Including women who are pregnant, women trying to conceive, younger women, older women, women who have had a hysterectomy, transgender individuals and female identified. The transmission is non invasive, it is received by a light touch on the belly. Once activated with the Rite of the Womb each women will be taught how to share this gift with others. Tickets Here
