Nina Deely - Bindumitra is an experienced Satyananda Yoga Teacher. Classes integrate all aspects of experience and cover practices for the body, mind and soul.
Nina first came to yoga following a dynamic career as a professional chef. Having trained in Michelin stared restaurants throughout Ireland and Europe including with the renowned chef Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons in Oxford, she went on to open the Culture Cafe in Galway in 1996. Her interest in Yogafirst began by attending regular weekly classes. Feeling more centred, calm, open to new ideas and sleeping better after that one class each week, she was inspired to seek a deeper understanding of Yoga, its teachings and practise, thus embarking on a new and exciting journey.
Nina went on to study with the Yoga Association of Mangrove Mountain, Australia. In order to fully experience a yogic way of life she lived in the ashram, during which time she also ran the ashram kitchen. Over a two year period, she completed the Satyananda Yoga Diploma of Teacher Training.
Further studies have included training at Bihar Yoga Bharati, Yoga University, Munger, India and time each year for Seva at the ashram of Paramahamsa Satyananda, Rikihia, India. Nina returned to Ireland in 2003 establishing the Bindu Yoga Centre, in Galway, her base until relocating to London for love in 2008.
She now teaches at her new London Hackney studio (Reva Yoga). Her classes draw inspiration from life and all of the wonderful teachers whose guidance she is blessed to receive.
Other qualifications include, British Wheel of Yoga Certified, Birthlight Yoga for Pregnancy, Integrated Mother and Baby Yoga, Toddler Yoga and certified Doula.
